Biography
Aged around nine, I was given my first basic camera, a Kodak Instamatic. I keenly took photographs of the world around me, instinctively trying to record my finds in a expressive manner. I remember that special feeling of ‘capturing the moment,' and I still get that same buzz when I've captured something special today.
Whether on an assignment, or a personal project, I strive to make my images with a creative eye, hopefully with some imagination and style. Whilst I like nothing better than being outside shooting landscapes, I also like to explore new photographic subjects, from the challenges of highly magnified macro photography to city architecture and just about everything in between.
I still enjoy the challenges and qualities of good old fashioned film. In conjunction with world class medium format Mamiya and panoramic Fuji equipment, enabling me to make photographs with outstanding quality and resolution.
I Studied photography for three years at Croydon College London, achieving three distinctions for my work. I've achieved success in national and international photographic competitions, and held several successful solo exhibitions in London. I'm represented by various agencies in the UK and overseas, and I am proud to say my images have been published in many books, journals, and adverts throughout the world.
